What Baseplate collects, why, who sees it, and how to get it deleted. The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics. Data only comes in when you send us a request, order, or talk to us.
Last updated 8 October 2026
01The short version
- We collect what you send us: your request, your order, your messages in tickets, and your Discord identity.
- We use it to do the work you asked for, support you, get paid and keep our server safe.
- We share it only with the services that run Baseplate: Whop and PayPal for payments, our host and Discord.
- We never sell it or use it for ads.
- Want it deleted? Email [email protected].
02Who we are
Baseplate is run by Baseplate LLC. We decide what happens with the data described here.
- Business
- Baseplate LLC
- Address
- 11 Rue du Rhin, 75019 Paris, France
- [email protected]
03What we collect and why
When you visit the site
Our server keeps a log of requests: your IP address, your browser, the time and the page. We use it to keep the site running and secure.
When you send a build request
The build request page puts your message together in your browser. It holds the package and server type you picked, what you need, your server name and size, your notes, your Discord handle and your credit choice. Nothing is sent until you choose how:
- Copy. It goes to your clipboard. We get nothing unless you paste it to us.
- Email. Your email app opens with it. If you send it, we get the email and your email address.
- Send with Discord. It goes to our Discord bot. See the next section.
In our Discord server
Our bot keeps:
- your Discord user ID and username
- your order details, from the order form in Discord or from the website
- your ticket messages. When a ticket closes, they're saved as a transcript, posted in a staff-only channel and sent to you by DM
- the reviews you leave, which you can post anonymously
- moderation logs, like warnings and bans in our server
We use these to carry out your order, support you, keep a record of what we agreed and keep the server safe.
When you pay
- Card. You check out on Whop, so your card details go to Whop, not to us. Whop shares a record of the payment with us, such as the amount, the date and the details you entered at checkout.
- PayPal. You pay us through PayPal, under its own privacy policy. We see the name and email on your PayPal account and the payment.
- Crypto. Crypto payments are recorded on a public blockchain, where anyone can see the amount and the wallet addresses involved. We keep the transaction ID and your wallet address.
- Other. If we agree another way to pay in your ticket, we keep the payment record it gives us.
We keep these payment records with your order.
04Send with Discord
- Your request goes to our Discord bot.
- You sign in with Discord. We ask for two permissions:
identify, which shares your Discord user ID, username and avatar (not your email or your messages), andguilds.join, which lets the bot add you to our Discord server. - The bot adds you to our server and opens a private order ticket with your request in it.
- The sign-in token is used once for that and never stored.
The bot keeps your request and your Discord user ID with your order. While you sign in, your browser keeps a copy of your message in session storage, so nothing is lost on the way. It's deleted once your ticket is open, or when you close the tab.
05What shows on the site
- Builds shows the builds we post. Your server's name, icon and invite only appear if you said yes to being featured.
- Reviews show your Discord name and avatar, unless you chose to stay anonymous.
You can take back your yes to being featured, or ask us to remove a review, any time. Email [email protected].
07How long we keep it
- Server logs
- 90 days
- Requests
- Deleted after a day if you don't finish signing in. Otherwise kept with your order
- Orders
- Kept permanently, as a record of what we built
- Tickets and transcripts
- 90 days after the ticket closes
- Payment records
- 8 years
- Reviews
- Until you ask us to remove them
- Featured builds
- Until you take back your yes
- Moderation logs
- 90 days
- Emails
- 90 days
08Getting your data deleted
Email [email protected] or message us on Discord and say what you want deleted. We'll confirm it's you, then delete it within a month.
We keep payment records for 8 years, as tax law requires, and anything we need to settle an open dispute. Messages you posted in Discord are also stored by Discord, and you can delete your own there.
09Cookies and Do Not Track
The site sets no cookies and has no analytics, ads or trackers. Our fonts are served from our own server. Nobody else collects information about you through our site over time or across other websites.
Do Not Track: because we don't track you across sites, a Do Not Track signal from your browser doesn't change anything here. Every visitor is treated the same way.
10EU and UK customers (GDPR)
If you're in the European Union, the European Economic Area or the UK, the GDPR gives you more.
Why we're allowed to use your data
- To do what you asked. Requests, orders, tickets and payments.
- Our legitimate interests. Server logs, security, moderation, and showing reviews and anonymous builds.
- Your consent. Featuring your server by name. You can take it back at any time.
- The law. Keeping invoices and payment records.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, delete or download your data, to limit how we use it, or object to it. Email [email protected]. If you think we got it wrong, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live.
Data leaving the EU
Your data is stored on our server in the Netherlands, inside the EU. Discord and Whop are based in the United States, so some of it is also handled there. Those transfers are covered by standard contractual clauses, the contract terms the European Commission approved for sending personal data outside the EU.
11California (CalOPPA)
The California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA) asks us to tell California residents:
- What we collect
- Identifiers like your Discord ID, username and IP address, your email if you write to us, your request and order details, your messages in tickets, and payment records, including your PayPal name and email or crypto wallet address if you pay that way
- Who we share with
- The services listed under Who we share it with, and nobody else
- Seeing or changing it
- Email [email protected] to see or correct what we hold about you
- Do Not Track
- We don't track you across sites, so the signal changes nothing
- Other trackers
- No other company collects data about you through our site
- Changes
- We post the new version here with a new date
- Effective
- 8 October 2026
12Children
Baseplate isn't for children under 13, and Discord itself requires you to be at least 13 (older in some countries). We don't knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you think we have, tell us and we'll delete it.
13Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, the new version goes up on this page with a new date. Questions? Email [email protected].
